Is there any harm in running it without the exhaust hooked up? I have the stock manifold, unhooked the exhaust to fix a leak fired it up for fun and it sounds awesome, will probably be sick of it once the exhaust gasket comes, but read some stuff about burning valves, and wondered if it was true. I know it'll have less torque, but just for fun.
Also, does anyone have opinions on exhaust cutouts? I'd like to put one as close to the manifold as I can for that sound once in a while. Do the flap ones just end up being leaky?
