From what I understand it is a 1 ton with a 2 ton rear axle with accompanying front hub and brake stystem, sort of making it a 1.5 ton truck.
I believe this was a factory option from 1946-1968 on the cab and chassis 157” wheelbase trucks.

Please anyone correct me if I’m wrong.
