| | | | Joined: Dec 2017 Posts: 1,652 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2017 Posts: 1,652 | I have used copper coat spray (although early on it was a brush on) for a couple of decades with the Felpro copper head gaskets. Two years ago I replaced the head on my 261 and decided that even though I still had a couple of copper gaskets in my stash, I wanted to use a fresh gasket and ordered the Felpro blue composite gasket. I did use the copper spray a gasket primarily because I have never had any gasket failures so why mess with success.
