If one were to put a newer diesel in a '54 4100 or 6400, what would be the best setup in terms of ease of installation, cost effectiveness, transmission & axle options etc? Would it be better to fit the old truck body to a newer frame? If so, which one. I want the looks and capacity of the old and performance of the new.
