Interesting comments about the WA-1. I’ve seen them on eBay and wondered if they could be made to work.
Pre-68 Dave had mentioned that he gets favorable results with a 216 manifold/carb on a 235. Perhaps a bit better throttle response and low end performance. Giving up a bit at higher RPM. I think that’s a fair paraphrase of what he’s said.
Rather than slot the WA-1 flange to fit, a guy could use the 216 manifold and have the best of both worlds. Benefits of the smaller runners at low rpm and have a properly sized venturii to not give up any top end.
