Looks like it hasn’t had gear oil in it since the last inspection sticker. 1973. Still have more tear down to do BUT…if it’s not salvageable is there a late model open driveline with 6 LUGS that is easily usable. Will wind up with a T5 trans more than likely if I have to go this route. I have new lowering springs and blocks set up for the 1/2 ton rear end and would like to use them as well. Significant investment. Staying 6lug as I just did the 6 lug front disc conversion.
