I verified my dipstick accordingly: https://www.stovebolt.com/ubbthread...stick-length.html#lg=1410855&slide=0Adding the theoretical capacity of 6 quarts tends to overfill my engine. Not sure why. Perhaps sludge buildup in the pan. So I add 5….run the engine to fill the filter canister….and then top off.
