Another source of 6BT Cummins engines is from 1987-1996 BlueBird buses and Oshkosh-framed buses and motor coaches/motor homes. There was a running BB bus (state gov't surplus DOC) sold here recently for only $1,900 and drive it home! Something like that, you could get rid of the bus body and put your cab on the later chassis/running gear!
