| | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 6 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 6 | On my 55 I'm replacing the rear axle seals and am having a hard time pulling the axles out. When I removed the hub cover plates there is a threaded hole in the axle like its giving you a place to pull on- but the shaft only moves in and out about 1/8" and wont pull out. Is there a retainer in the carrier holding them? It's a two ton with a 2 speed rear. Any ideas or maybe refer me to some literature? Thanks- | | |
