I had a 95 Impala SS which was the LT1 350. it had a two fan electric set up. If you turned the AC on one fan would run. If you got too hot the other would come on. The temp fan was two speeds. I liked it so much I bought a used one and put it in my Ford diesel truck when the water pump failed. That set up worked slick in there too. I am a firm believer in electric fans. You can easily wire them with relays and switches or with temp senders.
