| | | | Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 3,677 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 3,677 | I glue it to the cover with trim cement, preferred black,. That holds it in place while you are installing it. Then I put a thin coat of RTV on the outer side. It seals good & usually can be used over.
George Like a contact cement? I think I’ve got a can of super 77 adhesive around. Never thought about using it to hold gaskets in place.
