| | | | Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 14 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 14 | I have a 48 Dump and I took the original motor out (it was still running but had a knock and babbitt bearings)and put in a 235 bored 40 over from a 61 and I think it works just fine. You might have to down shift on the bigger hills but your only able to run around 40 to 45 miles an hour with the original gearing.
