I can empathize with your situation….I went around and around trying to find a way to keep my 8 bolt wheel setup. I ultimately decided that the best route for me was to put a hubcap over new 5 stud hubs & rear axle and keep it simple, knowing that I would never be towing a trailer or hauling anything heavy in my restored bed. Working to keep the 8 bolt wheels, even if they are under hubcaps, is commendable- just don’t let it drive you coockoo!
