I sent his dad that picture and he said they were bought new when they were building the Oroville dam to haul workers to and from town. They got auctioned off when that project was done and have been sitting pretty much ever since.
Apparently the guy had been trying to sell the pair for $9000 for a lot of years. Not sure if they are still for sale, but if so that might be a pretty solid price these days. | | |
