Ok I need some help here:

I have a 1957 chevy 3100. It came as a project and I am trying to get it all together and running. It has a 4” dropped axle. I am running 15” radials on it. The dropped axle requires that I mount the tie rod from underneath. I have updated the tie rod ends to the newer system. The problem is that the tie-rod is now rubbing the tires. I have tried wheel spacers, but they don’t give me enough clearance. I also have tried to put spacers between the spindle and the steering arms, but this caused interference with the bolt clearance on the axle and subsequently the turning radius of the truck. I am running out of solutions. I really do not want to buy bigger wheels or change out the tires. I am hoping for a solution. The only thing left that I can think of is to bend the steering arms inwardly to give more clearance. The tie rod still has a lot of threads to adjust for the steering arm modifications. Does anyone have any other ideas?
