I have some bifocal safety glasses that I wear under my clear face shield and also under welding helmet. I can look thru the bifocals for magnification or look over them for regular vision. Works pretty well. I have got in the habit of positioning welding helmet so I'm looking downward thru the bifocals on the work piece.
