I have a face shield, and I do use it. However, a very tiny piece of metal lodged on my cornea back in December in spite of eye protection. It was a ricochet type of thing. Bounced off my shirt or something and found it’s way into my eye. Doctor visit and had it scraped out. The new goggles (pictured) provide better vision through the lower half of my bifocals and seal against my face. I’ll use the goggles when grinding and making dust. Shield is used also. Just depends.
