| | | | Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 583 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 583 | Had them on my 1939 216. Paul is correct in that they are a PITA when working on the engine. They did a great job as debris shelves. I removed them. I see no difference in engine temperature, but then I do have a 6-bladed fan that helped tremendously keeping the engine cool.
