Finding a pre 62 center section would be the way to go. They're probably all going to be 3.90 or 4.10 rearends. The trick is finding them.
Go to car-part.com and look for 95-2004 Toyota Tacoma or 2003-2012 Chevy Colorado. You'll want Toyota 4wd or Prerunner. They 're 60 3/4 wide and 6 lug. They have ratios from 4.80 to 3.15. The Colorado 4wd and Z85 is what you want, they're 62" wide and 6 lug. They have ratios from 4.10 to 3.42.
