That Leece-Neville is a far better alternator than anything GM has ever built. Just connect the two big terminals in whatever ground polarity you choose to use, and ignore the 4-pin plug that was intended to be used with the early GM "Delcotron" with an external regulator. The L-N will keep the battery (or batteries) charged with no other connections needed.
