i dont really have an answer to your question, but some charging systems require a "goose" of the go pedal to hit a higher rpm to get the charging system started. Maybe try a "goose" or 2 and see what happens? Not sure what your driving or what charging setup you have for that matter?? Post some more info and im sure you'll get better responses. Good luck.
