I think my spare should add to the look of my '48 so I cut a hole just the right size in my 2-by flatbed and stuck it in. I've never used it but I do the snow tire/road tire exchange every fall and spring on my other cars. Sorry for showing this pic again and again. It's my favorite.

34 Years. Now with a '61 261, 848 head, Rochester Monojet carb, SM420 4-speed, 4.10 rear, dual reservoir MC, Bendix up front, 235/85R16 tires, 12-volt w/alternator, electric wipers and a modern radio in the glove box.
