If your bushings are worn out your peddles will move to the point we’re they scrape the sheetmetal in the floor .you can wiggle the peddles to see from above .there is a bit of adjustment were the peddle bolts to the leaver .there is also a grease fitting that needs to be greased .I think there are two types of bushings a original size and a oversize that needs to be sized with the shaft as sometimes the shaft gets worn . Here is a picture the bushings are in we’re I circled.
