Hi...I am new here,and there seems to be lots of info availible here.I just recently picked up a 49 GMC 1 1/2 ton,at least I think it is a 1 1/2 ton.Is there any place that brake parts are still availible? I am planning a SBC transplant as the engine is long gone,but I may use the original trans or go with a turbo 400.Are these logical for a transplant? Also is there a way to upgrade to disk brakes on the front? I may be asking questions you guys have heard a million times,and if so I appoliguise.But any help is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!!
