I have a rear end out of a 73 Chevy 3/4 ton (eaton rear end) that I am (was) going to swap into my 50 1 ton to get a better gear ratio and bigger brakes. I have finally gotten around to pulling the drums off to check the brakes and the rivets have ground grooves into both drums. NAPA tells me that the grooves are too deep to turn out. Do I try to find some drums in a salvage yard (and hope they usable) or should I see if I can buy new ones?

Thanks
