Massey-Ferguson Perkins Diesel rod bearings work in bored-out Babbit rods- - - -STD diameter Perkins bearings are 60 undersize, so those worn out 30 under crankshafts can be salvaged. I use a milling attachment to hold the rods and a micrometer boring head in the spindle of my lathe to bore the rods a few thousandths undersize and finish off the bearing bore with a Sunnen hone.
