Tranny and pilot bushing alignment won't affect clutch engagement. I would suspect adjustment of the linkage.

If you put it in gear and hit the starter without pushing the clutch pedal in, does the truck move?

There should be a little slop in the pedal before it gets harder to push as it engages the throwout bearing.
