My distributor is close to the firewall and I had to build this to spin the oil pump. I could not fit the hand drill directly over the distributor hole. As mentioned, use an old distributor and cut the top off, then add the U-joint so I could attach the hand drill. I pressed a bushing onto the shaft at both the top and bottom to keep things in place.
