Sounds like they were using a shill bidder account to kick up the final sale price and it backfired on 'em.
People who shill bid should be shot. No trial, no due process, straight to the firing squad.
Secret reserves suck, too. I say people should just decide the absolute lowest amount they're willing to sell an item for, and start the bidding there.
My guess is that it's a small number of folks who would pay premium scratch for that truck, and they all probably saw what you saw, the suspected shill bid at the last minute.
I can understand it when a 0 feedback bidder snipes an auction.. but when the SAME 0 FEEDBACK BIDDER snipes it on a relist, it's enough to make me not bother to bid on anything that seller is offering.
