Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!
| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 2,987 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 2,987 | Saw a late '60s Chevy pickup pull into the gas station while I was filling up my car this morning. The headlights had a circle of white LED lights within each one which were illuminated, much like the running lights on the new pickups. But then when he put the turn signal on those white lights turned amber and began flashing. Essentially the headlight was now the turn signal! Not sure if it was the same circle of lights or another circle right beside the other ones.
I didn't get to talk to the guy for more than a minute mostly to comment that I had never seen anything like that before. I just also wanted to confirm the year of the truck, as it appeared to be a '67. He said it was actually a '72 with a '67 front clip on it.
But I had never seen lights like that before. Just wondering if anyone here was familiar with them. | | |
