Jerry, I'm glad you mentioned that. I bought one of those, but when I set it on the table and placed the 2 sides of the Viton seal around the outer edge, it seemed like there was going to be about 1/16" gap on each end. Doesn't that seem too tight to you for that sort of seal? I can see it working fine with the one piece seal, but I sort of wondered about the 2 part type. The sleeve I have is 3 7/8" id and as I recall the wall thickness of it was something like .012". I recall there were 2 sleeves that could have possibly been used on a 3.875" shaft. On one, 3.875" was in the middle of two measurements and on the other the 3.874" was the max diameter shaft that sleeve could fit on, so I figured it might be possible. Ideas?
