Hey gang, The steering on my '49' 3100 is getting so sloppy, it's becoming dangerous. The adjustment screw has been tighten all the way down. Instead of rebuilding the old steering box I'm just going replace it with a remanufactured one from Summit. I've seen seen a few videos on you tube but the fender and hood have been removed. I've got a couple of questions. 1, Do I have to remove body parts to remove steering box?
2, Will I have to put truck on a lift or raise the front end to get at the bolts and to remove the box?
