I have a Weber 32/36 on the 235 in my '61 Apache. It is so much better than the Carter I had...more power and better fuel economy.

There is one thing I would like to improve: The second barrel begins to open rather abruptly at near-full-throttle, not leaving much 'gas pedal' margin between that and the overdrive kickdown at full throttle. Has anyone ever tinkered with the actuating linkage mechanism to make that second barrel open sooner, or more progressively? An obligatory internet search turned up nothing relevant.
