If yes, it could be a heat exchanger used to help cool the engine when pumping/drafting. While replacing the T-stat remove the upper and lower radiator hoses and back flush the radiator with LOW perssure water. DO NOT allow the water hose to make pressure or you will burst the seams...5-10 psi MAX. See what comes out!!  | | |
