| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,097 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,097 | You will need a V-8 bellhousing specific to a 60-62 truck because of the hydraulic clutch system. V-8 bellhousings from other years with the fork on the left side will not work. Nothing from the 235 engine will change over to the V-8. You will also need a V-8 flywheel, throttle linkage, exhaust system, hoses, pulleys, etc. As 3B stated the front mount is also specific to those years. There may be an aftermarket conversion kit available.
