I KNEW I had found a Japanese car paint that was spot on for the mid 60's truck interior paint but insisted it was for a MAZDA. Nissan to the rescue! Badly sunlight distorted photos of a 66 we restored which is unusual for a street rod shop but kind of fun and WAY harder than street rodding where anything goes.

That interior looks sharp. All of the '65 trucks I own have had the "buttons" around the back glass. When I get my current truck, Crusty Biscuit back in order, it will have that factory A/C dash in it. That is mainly why I searched for the color, because the '65 A/C dash I have is light green, and the cab is still factory fawn. I took some Old No. 7 polishing compound to it a couple years ago and it shined up nicely. But, since I have a ton of work to do on the interior, it will get a fresh coat of paint.
