I did not search to see if this has already been covered here on the stovebolt, so if it has, please delete or merge the info. Some of us like to keep the original look to our old trucks, and finding a paint that matches what GM used can be difficult. I did some research, and yes, this has been covered in different forums, but I just received my order of Duplicolor BNS0593 Nissan Sunlit Sand, so I thought I would share it here. Last week I found a factory door to replace the damaged door on my truck. It has the factory fawn color, as I have seen it called in other forums. I am not an expert on the different names of the paint colors used over the years. That said, I took one of the cans out to the door to see how well it matched the old factory paint. To my amazement it is a perfect match. I painted the small area above the odd-shaped hole. You cannot see a difference from the old 60s paint and the new sunlit sand paint.
