I was thinking about swapping out the rear end of our 1950 3600 ton with a later model 4.10. I found a non posi unit for $400 which seems high. It's off a 67 3/4 ton. The article on stove bolt says 68 through 72 would work. Will a 67 also work?
Can anybody give me advice on whether I should wait for the posi? Is this price too high for the non posi unit?
And I guess lastly how much of an increase in speed would I get from going from a 456 to a 410
