I use the term task force trucks because years ago when I got the truck it came with a couple of photos, a brief history and the previous owner used the term government or task force truck. His notes said GM had a separate assembly line for the military, forestry service and fire departments. Apparently a farmer bought the truck at military auction in 1966, hand painted it yellow and painted a basket with fruits and vegetables on the doors. Unfortunately shortly later the farmer died and his widow put the truck in the barn. 30 odd years later the farm was sold and the vehicle was found. It ended up with the guy I bought it from 16 years ago in Canada. I stopped posting back in 2010. I will put up some newer photos of the project. Thanks again for having good ideas and sharingðŸ™
