I'm using EPAS power steering on my 53 3100. I have not installed it yet but did put one on a friends truck a couple of years ago, maybe 3. It's amazing, smooth with adjustable gain. I was starting from scratch and it's so simple that I bought one too. I think it was about $1500. We installed it in about 4 hours with no rush. You could literally install it with a hacksaw, drill and file. It doesn't care if the engine is running. You just cut a chunk out of the stock column, double "D" the shaft and bolt it inline. Run a power wire and done. I plan on using my throttle knob location for the gain control with an original knob on it. No P/S box, pump, pulleys or hoses. I also have Rencool electric A/C with remote condenser so my engine compartment will look stock except for the blown 292 sticking out of the hood. Sorry this got so long. Thank you for your time.
