Thanks Gary, your information is not confusing and is very helpful. Since the cab is off the truck, I have replaced the two wood pieces, one on each side that has three 5/16 flat head machine bolts and attach to the caged nuts. I have a picture sent to me by another owner of a '37 1 1/2 ton Chevy and the spring on the rear mounts is under the frame as opposed to being on top (inside the cab). From your description it sounds like yours has the spring on top or inside the cab. Did I get that right? Let me know if you have anymore thoughts on this. I am going to make some blocks to the deminsions you cited. Thank you very much! Ralph
