| | | | Joined: Jun 2021 Posts: 13 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2021 Posts: 13 | I'm about to paint the 57' 235 head and looking for advice about painting in and around the spark plug holes. I was thinking about cutting off old spark plugs just above the threads to screw in and protect the head threads but eliminating the big diameter part of the spark plug. That will allow paint to get onto the spark plug seat which is probably not good. With the whole spark plug screwed in it will be very difficult to get paint into the recessed areas around the spark plug. Anyone have suggestions on a good way to do this, maybe just stick a cork in it?
