The name Buoymaker came from a print hanging on my wall. The title is "Where the buoys are" which is a play on words from a 1960 movie "Where the boys are".
There is an old retired seaman selling buoys on the seashore. He's sleeping on a homemade driftwood chair and a seagull is standing on his big belly.
