I agree with Jerry. If you are not going original, I would look at it from the standpoint of having replacement parts readily available/obtainable.

If one has deep pockets you could do a Cummings-Allison (which I expect everyone has seen this website by now).

There is a lot of preplanning to do. First off is insurance then is a CDL for your state required?
