Well that's not a helpful website if the forum is vacant. I guess it's mostly pictures. I avoid FB as well.
If the bus was made in 1945 it would have been made for the military during WW2. I would look at WW2 military equipment websites. Also anything made for the military would have halfway decent technical/service information, for those servicemen who may not have a strong mechanical aptitude. You would have to figure out the military designation for the bus type.
