| | | | Joined: Apr 2000 Posts: 28 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2000 Posts: 28 | I had the same problem with my 51 1 ton pickup. topped out at 45 and sounded like all @#X% was gonna break loose. i put in a 235 i got for a hundred bucks, and a pumpkin out of a 72 3/4 ton, and i can handle any driving situation now.4:10 gears were perfect for me.
