how about the vortec straight six from gm, powers the bravada and others. go to gm.com it will tell you about it. i thought it would be a better choice for the ssr but they put a honking big v8 in it. i guess that is where the super sport comes from. less nostalgia more horsepower, lousy milage but if can afford 48,000 what is a little less mileage. ron
