I have been wondering why there is only one key hole lock on my 48 Loadmaster being on the passenger side only. All new cars have them on the drivers side which makes more sense. Is this general knowledge or am I missing something. My guess is that back in the day the traffic laws were not set yet and it was safer to get in on the passenger side and slide across the bench seat so you did not get hit by passing motorists. Or could this be just a Farm/work thing??
