| | | | Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 90 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 90 | On a 59 truck with a 4 speed and the lever applied band-type parking brake, should there be a spring to help the lever return to the brake off position? I've always had to release and push the lever forward to the brake off position. Should there be a spring down on the transmission somewhere and anyone have a part number?
