I believe the front panel can be snaked out between the cab and the rest of the bed. It bolts to the bedsides and to the front cross sill, then will have to be moved forward about an inch. If there isn't enough room after unbolting it, you may wind up removing the bed-to-frame bolts and moving the bed back slightly.
